Loving the environment means more than loving the great outdoors. It means working to preserve it.

Over a decade ago, Subaru became the first U.S. auto manufacturer to become zero-landfill, and now, in collaboration with the National Park Service and the National Parks Conservation Association, Subaru is leveraging that same environmental expertise to help the National Parks reach zero-landfill too.

In a perfect world, hunger would be history and hope would be commonplace. We believe a perfect world is possible.

Share the Love helps People for Pets.  –  Debra B

People for Pets would like to thank Subaru of America and Subaru of Twin Falls for the generous donation to our People for Pets-Humane Society. Thank you to Subaru for hosting the Share the Love adoption event in the fall of 2018. Our mission statement is to protect, shelter and humanely care for our community’s lost, abandoned, abused and rescued domesticated pets. The opportunities afforded to us by this event allows us to fulfill our mission of caring for nearly 5000 homeless animals per year. Many of these animals come to us in need of veterinary care. Through the Share the Love funds we are able to provide them the next level of care at the veterinarian. We strive to provide the best level of care to all the animals that come to our shelter. Our expertly trained staff and large volunteer base help make this possible. Our partnership with Subaru through the Share the Love event provides an opportunity to improve the quality of life through animal enrichment practices such as essential oils to stimulate the dogs and cats interest as they wait to be adopted and go to a forever home. Thank you once again for inviting People for Pets-Magic Valley Humane Society, Inc. to partner in this great community event. We look forward to continuing our partnership in the future.Sincerely, Debra Blackwood Director, entire staff and Board of Directors

Subaru Loves to Care  –  Susie W

Melanie Gonzales, MSPH, MCHES, Michelle Bartlome, Public Relations, St. Lukes and Dean Montoya, Subaru of Twin Falls gathered at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls for the Subaru blanket delivery. Melanie shared how much the patients she works with appreciated receiving the blankets and care cards last year. The care cards especially had a positive impact! She is thankful Subaru of Twin Falls decided to participate again this year.

Subaru and NWF Loves the Earth  –  Mickey C

We are very excited to educate our students with your information, nurture the wildlife in our area, and beautify the entrance to our school. Thank you so much to Subaru of America, Inc. and the National Wildlife Federation for this opportunity. Our students and their families are going to love watching the plants and animals! I know the students will also be excited to take an active part in caring for our National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat.

Finding new homes for our furry friends  –  Alex L

Subaru of Twin Falls is happy to announce their new partnership with People for Pets, the Magic Valley Humane Society in Twin Falls Idaho. Through this relationship, Subaru of Twin Falls held their first annual Subaru Loves Pets Adoption Day at the Dealership. During this event, 12 of their furry friends from the Magic Valley Animal Shelter were invited into the hearts and homes of some generous local families. Subaru of Twin Falls believes in bringing the community together to support great organizations such as People for Pets, and this event did just that. Local radio stations, pet supply stores and the local news channel came together to make the event successful. Even local residents who weren’t looking for a new pet generously donated money for dog and cat food to donate to People for Pets. General Manager of Subaru of Twin Falls, Kevin Johnson was inspired to see the community come out and support a worthy cause and is looking forward to next year’s adoption event.

Falls 2 Falls  –  Jaime T

The Magic Valley Trails Enhancement Committee, or MaVTEC, is a non-profit organization made up of passionate community members focused on acquiring, adjoining and updating the trail systems in the Magic Valley. They provide the Twin Falls and surrounding communities a healthy, safe, and environmentally responsible place to run, walk and bike. Subaru of Twin Falls was a proud sponsor and participant of the 8th annual Falls 2 Falls Walk/Run event. Proceeds of this event are going towards the completion of the Canyon Rim to Shoshone Falls trail. This year, this event hosted 486 participants, which is over double the original attendance of the event!
